Fair fixes first

Refund policy.

The first goal is to correct access failures, duplicate charges, or delivery mistakes quickly. Completed labor and delivered digital access are handled differently from work that has not started.

Effective July 3, 2026

1. Report a problem promptly

Email digitalbusinessmechanic@gmail.com with the purchaser email, transaction date, product or service, and a short description of the issue. Do not send payment-card numbers.

2. Duplicate, unauthorized, or incorrect purchases

Verified duplicate charges, unauthorized purchases, and clearly incorrect items will be investigated promptly. When the error is confirmed, Digital Business Mechanic may reverse the charge, replace the item, or apply the payment to the correct purchase.

3. Digital guides and immediate-access products

If paid access fails, support will first attempt to restore access or deliver the purchased material another way. Because digital content is available immediately and cannot be returned, purchases are generally final after successful access or delivery, except for duplicate charges, material delivery failure, misdescription, or rights required by law.

4. Custom setup and project work

5. Split setup payments

A payment plan does not make delivered work optional. Remaining setup payments stay due when the approved milestone or launch is delivered. If a project is cancelled mid-build, completed work and non-cancellable costs are deducted before any remaining unearned amount is considered for refund.

6. Monthly services

Month-to-month services may be cancelled before the next renewal. Cancellation stops future renewals; the active service period generally continues through its paid end date. Partial-month refunds are not normally provided after a service period begins unless service was not delivered or applicable law requires otherwise.

7. Third-party charges

Domains, software subscriptions, advertising, messaging, hosting, payment fees, and other third-party purchases follow the provider’s policy. Digital Business Mechanic cannot promise a refund that the outside provider does not issue.

8. Project-specific terms

An approved proposal, invoice, checkout, or written agreement may contain more specific cancellation or refund terms. Those specific terms control for that purchase when they conflict with this general policy.

Do not jump straight to a chargeback. Contact support first so access, duplicate billing, or delivery can be corrected without creating extra delay and fees for everyone.
