When a recommendation may pay DBM
Some links may be affiliate, partner, referral, or reseller links. If DBM receives a commission or other benefit after a customer uses one, we will label the relationship near the link or recommendation. The customer does not pay extra because of the referral.
What the commission does not mean
A commission does not mean a product is right for every customer, that DBM controls the vendor, or that the vendor guarantees results. We recommend based on fit, cost, access, portability, support, and the customer’s actual bottleneck.
Separate DBM service fees
Vendor subscriptions and usage charges are separate from DBM’s transparent fees for diagnosis, configuration, installation, migration, documentation, and human review. DBM will not hide a setup fee inside an affiliate link.
Customer control
You may ask MAC or Jamie for a non-affiliate alternative. We will identify material limitations, avoid fake urgency, and avoid claiming that a platform is free when it has paid usage or plan requirements.
