1. Who operates this site
Digital Business Mechanic is operated by Jamie Maniatis in Spokane, Washington. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to digitalbusinessmechanic@gmail.com or made by phone at (509) 868-9784.
2. Information we may collect
- Information you submit: name, email, business name, website address, proposed brand name, social handle, support messages, project details, and other information you intentionally provide.
- Public website information: when a scan is requested, the service makes bounded public requests to the submitted website and records technical observations needed to create the report.
- Transaction information: purchase status, product, amount, and transaction identifiers. Payment-card details are handled by the payment processor and are not stored by this website.
- Basic technical records: IP address, browser, device, timestamps, requested pages, security events, and similar logs ordinarily created by hosting and security providers.
- Local browser storage: limited interface state may be kept on your device. The private operator map also stores completed audit results locally for the signed-in operator.
3. How information is used
Information is used to run requested checks, send requested report copies, complete purchases, provide support, scope and deliver services, protect the site from abuse, maintain business records, and improve the customer path. Digital Business Mechanic does not sell personal information.
4. Service providers and external links
Information may be processed by vendors that provide hosting and security, email delivery, checkout and payment processing, scheduling, CRM or approved client-work systems. Current examples may include Cloudflare, Resend, Stripe, Calendly, and GoHighLevel. Each provider handles information under its own terms. External diagnostic, registrar, social-platform, or affiliate links leave this site.
5. Reports, AI, and client work
Automated website observations are point-in-time public signals, not active security tests. Information submitted for a custom project may be used with approved software or AI services only when reasonably needed to perform the requested work. Do not send passwords, payment-card numbers, health records, or other highly sensitive information through ordinary email, forms, or chat.
6. Retention and security
Records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, customer support, accounting, dispute handling, security, and legal obligations. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no website, email, or online service can guarantee perfect security.
7. Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information controlled by Digital Business Mechanic, subject to legal, security, accounting, and contractual requirements. You may also ask to stop non-transactional follow-up. Transactional messages, requested reports, and service communications may still be sent when necessary.
8. Children and geographic scope
The site is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 13. The service is operated in the United States. If you use it from another jurisdiction, you understand that information may be processed in the United States.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated when tools, vendors, laws, or business practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
